John Charles Soltesz II

John Charles Soltesz II, 76, of Logan, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024, at the Arbors of Carroll. John was born on September 27, 1948, in Columbus, the son of the late John Charles and Julia (Marczika) Soltesz.

John served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He retired as head custodian of Franklin Heights High School, and he worked for several years at Speedway in Logan.

John is survived by his sister, Victoria (Herb) McCoy of Columbus; nephew and niece, Chris McCoy and Rene McCoy; great niece, Nikoleta McCoy Harvalis; aunt, Marianne Marczika; and many cousins.

No services will be held at this time. John will be laid to rest in the Dayton National Cemetery. Arrangements are through the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
