Juanita Pearl Parker

Juanita Pearl (Justice) Parker, 67, of Logan, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at her residence. She was born May 14, 1957, daughter of the late Alexander and Judith (Parker) Justice. Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth “Buddy” Parker.

Juanita loved people, and helped coordinate services at the New Straitsville Food Pantry, and with kids for school supplies and Christmas programs, for over a decade. She continued to invest in children by keeping Children’s Hospital stocked with cut out collage pictures for their patients to turn into art projects.

Juanita is survived by her son, Kenneth R. (Amanda) Parker II of Logan; daughters, Amy (Chad Moore) Parker of Logan, and Kendra (Sarah Alford) Parker of Lancaster; grandchildren, Micah (Veronica Cardello) Moore, Benjamin (Molly) Moore, Willow and Soulen Parker, and Misty and Corey Poling; great-grandson, Orson Moore; and several nieces and nephews including Thelma Justice.

In addition to her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by her brother, Junior Parker and sissy, Nadine “Auntie” Justice.

In accordance with Juanita’s wishes, cremation will take place. Arrangements are with Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
