Juanita Suzanne Sowers

Juanita Suzanne Sowers, 77, of McArthur, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at the Pickering House in Lancaster.  She was born April 21, 1941 in McArthur, daughter of the late John Austin and Gladys Marie Partee Crow.  Suzanne was the widow of the late John Sowers Jr.

She was a retired teacher for the Vinton County Local School System, a member of the Ohio Education Association, the McArthur BPW and was also a member of the First Christian Church in McArthur.

Suzanne is survived by her daughters, Mandelyn Sowers and Susette Robinette Sowers, both of McArthur; grandchildren, Nathan and Victoria Robinette; great grandchildren, Taylee McGhee, Carter Robinette and Kyson Barker; brother, Gary (Letha) Crow of Elyria and brother-in-law, Allen Finchum of London, Ohio.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Finchum.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, September 29, 2018 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. Jim Taylor officiating.  Interment will be in Bell Cemetery, McArthur.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, one hour prior to the service.
