Kenneth E. Konkler

Kenneth E. Konkler, 80, of Rockbridge, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster.  He was born March 20, 1938 in Hocking County, son of the late Joseph W. and Nellie Shaner Konkler.  Kenneth was married to the late Kay I. Staley Konkler.

He has worked at Carborundum Grinding Wheel in Logan since 1968 and was a member of the Logan Moose Lodge, Logan Amvets and the Logan Eagles.

He is survived by his son, James E. (Stacy) Konkler of Lancaster; daughter, Christy (Chad) Schmidt of Westerville; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, Kenneth was preceded in death by his brothers, Herb, William and Dick Konkler and sisters, Gertrude Robinson and Nellie Ellinger.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Friday, June 1, 2018 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.  Interment will be in Knollwood Cemetery, Logan.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 6-8 p.m. where an Eagles service will be held at 7 p.m.
