Kenneth Jack Meadows

October 24, 1934 — June 1, 2021

Kenneth Jack Meadows, 86, of Logan, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at Crewstview Rehabilitation in Lancaster.  He was born October 24, 1934, in Draffin, Kentucky, son of the late John and Polly Senter Meadows.  Jack was married to the late Patricia Jean Kornmiller Meadows.

He retired from Kaiser Aluminum in Newark and was a United States Army Veteran during the Korean Conflict.  Jack attended Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church and was a member of the American Legion, the Moose and Amvets, in Logan.

He is survived by his son, Kerry J. Meadows of Logan; daughter, Karcy (Greg) Rush of Logan; grandchildren, Kelsey (Dustin) Thornberry of Hawaii and Logan Meadows of Louisville, Kentucky; great grandchildren, Emmet, Parker and Tripp Thornberry and a sister, Betty Cottrill of St. Mary’s, West Virginia.

In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his sisters, Goldie Klinger, Gladys Conrad and Kate Mathias and brothers, Fred, Frank, George and James Meadows.

A graveside service will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Helber Cemetery on Frasure Helber Rd. in Logan, with military honors being conducted by the Hocking County Honor Guard.  Friends may call at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Kenneth Jack Meadows to FairHope Hospice, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
