Kenneth Calvin Williams, 82, of Carbon Hill, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2020, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus. He was born January 26, 1938, in Greendale, Ohio, son of the late John H. and Violet O. Mills Williams. Kenneth was married to the late Miriam Hutton Williams.
He was a former iron worker and a United States Army Veteran. Kenneth was a member of the Trimble Masonic Lodge and the former Fire Chief and founding member of the Ward Township Fire Department.
He is survived by his sons, Shane Casey (Angie) Williams of Logan and Shawn Tracy (Stephanie) Williams of Union Furnace; daughter, Rebecca (Scott) Nulf of Carbon Hill; grandchildren, Stormy, Keely, Austin, Drew, Ryan, Jamie, Carlee, Rachel, Heather and Dylan and great grandchildren, Kenzie, Karman, Willow, Maddie, Dallas, Dawson, Kyle, Zoey, Brock, Rylynn and Azariah.
In addition to his parents and wife, Kenneth was preceded in death by his sons, Scotty Lee and Kenny Williams; brothers, Keith, Mickey and Jack Williams and sisters, Joan Amerine, Gloria Devol and Donna Bateman.
Funeral services will be held 5 p.m., Thursday, September 10, 2020, in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Pastor Charles Mansfield officiating. A Masonic service will also be held at 5 p.m. and military honors will be conducted following the service at the funeral home. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday, from 3 p.m. until the time of the service.
