Kirt D. Ward

Kirt D. Ward, 60, of Wellston, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. He was born January 4, 1962, in McArthur, son of Raymond and Shirley Ferguson Ward of McArthur.

He was a retired accountant from General Mills in Wellston.

In addition to his parents, Kirt is survived by his brothers, Kim (Roxann) Ward of McArthur, Beatle (Chris) Ward of The Plains and David Ward of McArthur; sister, Lori (Bret) Russell of Gallipolis Ferry, West Virginia; nephews, Jeremy, Aaron, Austin, Jordan, Chase and Colby Ward, Curry, Dustin and Titus Russell; nieces, Mindy Thomas, Emily Quesenberry, Kelly Ward and Jocelyn Casto; special friend, Marsha Bryan and her family, especially grandchildren, Dakota, Bentley, Kenzie and Mia; many friends and special neighbors, Gene Grizzel and Russel and Jean Cox.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, January 27, 2022, in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Pastor William Roth officiating.  Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
