L. Orlyn Anderson

L. Orlyn “Andy” Anderson, 82, of Logan, passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at The Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus. He was born May 21, 1939, in Battle Lake, Minnesota, the son of the late Lloyd O. and Verna B. Erickson Anderson. He was married to the late Patricia Smith Anderson.

Orlyn was a retired owner-operator truck driver.  He previously worked for McCort Enterprises as a heavy equipment operator and mechanic.  He also previously worked for Kilbarger Construction.

He is survived by his daughters, Deborah (John) Angle of Logan and Brenda Deane of South Charleston, Ohio; grandchildren, Adam Angle, Ashley Lehman, Andrew Lehman, Lauren (Jonathan) Mott, Michael Anderson, and Stacy Proctor; several great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Karen Anderson of Logan; and sister-in-law, Barbara Anderson of Logan.

In addition to his parents and wife, Orlyn was preceded in death by his sons, Michael Anderson and Jeff Anderson; brothers, Gary Anderson and Dennis Anderson; and sister, Verona Catlin.

No services will be held.  Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
