Lacie Carl Nelson

Lacie Carl Nelson, 82, of Logan, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster.  He was born January 7, 1937 in Jolo, West Virginia, son of the late William Gobel and Lillie Pearl McClanahan Nelson. He was married 63 years to Edra “Peggy” Nelson, who survives.

Carl was an amazing husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be sadly missed and loved by everyone he crossed paths with. He retired from the Carborundum Company after over 40 years of employment.

In addition to his wife, Peggy, he is survived by his children, Frank (Pam) Nelson, Rick (Carole) Nelson, Randy (Kim) Nelson and Donna (Chuck Owsley) Webb all of Logan; sister, Joann Turner; 9 grandchildren, Joe Webb, Nathan Nelson, Allison Nelson, Billy Webb, Tyler Nelson, Molly Nelson, Riley Nelson, Dylan Nelson and Austin Nelson; 14 great grandchildren, Tanner Riggs, Cody Hartman, Colby Riggs, Conner Hartman, Luke Nelson, Paislee Webb, Grettalyn Stelma, Lexi Nelson, Callie Lewis, Jaylyn Webb, Jazmyn Webb, Morgan Nelson, Camryn Lewis and Bailey Nelson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan with Dave Seely officiating.  Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Logan.  Friends may call Wednesday from 5-8 at the funeral home.
