Ladonna Rae Michael

LaDonna Rae Michael, 86, of Nelsonville, passed away at O’Bleness Hospital on Wednesday, August 9, 2023. She was born January 4, 1937, in Nelsonville, the daughter of the late Lola Louise (Dearing) Flowers and Roy McClure Flowers. She was married for 68 years to her loving and devoted husband, Carl M. Michael, who survives.

Together with Carl, LaDonna lived in California, Maine, England, and for 47 years in Wichita Falls, Texas, before returning to Nelsonville.

In addition to her husband, LaDonna is survived by her brother, Jon Flowers of Nelsonville; sister, Jane Flowers of Nelsonville; sisters-in-law, Julia (Bob) Michael Scott of The Plains, Karen Ackison of The Plains, Dixie Flowers of Nelsonville and Mary Lee Michael of The Plains; brother-in-law, Blaine “Doc” (Linda) Michael of The Plains; very close nephew, Anthony Davis; and lifelong and close friend, Jack Whitlatch.

LaDonna was preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael G. Michael; and brother, Gary Flowers.

Private Services will be held. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville.
