Larry David Murdoch

Larry David Murdoch, 67, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019 in Boardman, Ohio.   He was born November 8, 1951 in Gallipolis, Ohio, son of Shirley A. Dalton Murdoch of McArthur and the late Paul R. Murdoch.

Larry was a Senior Sales Representative for the upper Midwest Region for American Timber and Steel Company, a member of St. Sylvester Catholic Church in Zaleski, a member of the McArthur Eagles AERIE #2279 and graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughters, Erica (Collins) Beaton of Holliston, Massachusetts and Jaclyn (Seymour) Adeva of Londonderry; grandchildren, Tanner and Camden Beaton and Maverick Adeva; brother, Randy (Sonja Rawn) Murdoch of Athens; nieces, Jaye (Chris) Thompson of McArthur and Hillary Murdoch of McArthur; the mother of his daughters, Christy Giardino of Lancaster, Ohio and his companion, Lisa Young of Norwalk, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m., Friday, January 25, 2019 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Father David Young officiating.  Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Larry D. Murdoch to St. Sylvester Catholic Church, 119 N. Second St., P.O. Box 264, Zaleski, Ohio 45698 or to the charity of your choice.
