Larry David Rosser, 68, of Buchtel, passed away at his home on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. Larry was born on January 27, 1954, in Nelsonville, the son of the late Belford Rosser and Ada (Rife) Rosser Abram.
Larry served in the US Army. He worked as a truck driver for many years for various companies and for himself. Larry was an avid fan of all sports and he enjoyed playing as well, especially baseball, basketball, and pool.
Larry is survived by his son, Bryan Rosser of Lancaster; grandchildren, Alex Rosser and Marissa (Isaac) Jordan; great grandchildren, Lucille, Amelia, and Rueben; brother, Ty (Zoe) Rosser of Newark; sister-in-law, Bobbie of Florida; fiancé, Jackie Carnefix; Jackie’s children, Josh Miller, James (Chelsea) Miller, and Jason Canterbury; Jackie’s grandchildren, Carolina and Sawyer; and Larry’s good friend, Rick “Hoss” (Robin) Harris.
Larry was preceded in death by his mother and father, and brother, Kim Rosser.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM on Saturday, January 21, 2023, in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville, with Pastor David Shoemaker officiating. Interment will be in Whitmore Cemetery, Buchtel. Friends may visit from 10 AM to 12 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
