Lee Milton Rider, 75, of Columbus, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2019 at his residence. He was born December 4, 1943 in Athens, Ohio, son of the late Ray and Mary Ellen Webb Rider. Lee is survived by his wife of 50 years, Glenna Rose Booth Rider.
Lee had many talents but was most known for his excellent auto detailing abilities, skills as a truck driver and the love for his dearly departed dog Orion.
In addition to his wife, Lee is survived by his son, Glen (Christine) West of Oakwood, Ohio; daughters, Roxanne (James) Parrish of Columbus and Tamara (Anthony) Genovese of Columbus; six grandchildren, Christopher Vongsavath, Benjamin West, Damia Harris, Alexis Mayo, CJ Hixson, and Nasir Mayo; two great grandchildren, Ronald Allen Jr. and Jah’Wuan Nelson Jr.; sister, Sharon (Joe) Bay of Zaleski and his dog Diego.
Graveside services will be held 3 p.m., Saturday, April 27, 2019 in Oak Grove Cemetery, Zaleski, Ohio, with military honors being conducted by the McArthur VFW Post #5299.
