Leonard Jesse Slaughter

Leonard Jesse Slaughter, 73, of McArthur, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at his residence.  He was born June 14, 1950, in Immokalee, Florida, son of the late Clara F. Caudill and Leonard Richard Slaughter. Leonard was married to the late Brenda G. Vanover Slaughter.

He is survived by his son, Leonard Jesse Slaughter Jr. of Williamsburg, Kentucky; daughters, Tammy Maneriquez of Louisville, Kentucky, Crystal (Nelson) Calvillo of Louisville, Kentucky and Jessica (Clinton Gearhart) Slaughter of McArthur; twenty-two grandchildren; three great grandchildren and brother, WJ Slaughter.

In addition to his mother and wife, he was preceded in death by his sons, Donnie and Tommy Slaughter, granddaughter, Chloe Darnell and several brothers and sisters.

No services will be held.  Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
