Leslie "Les" Wayne Mohney

Leslie “Les” Wayne Mohney, 61, of Buchtel, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024.  Les was born December 5, 1962, in Nelsonville, the son of the late Denver Lee and Mary Louise (Allbaugh) Mohney.

Les attended Buchtel United Methodist Church.

Les is survived by his son, Kodie Lee Tolliver of Nelsonville; sisters, Lynn Etta (Mark) Brandt of Avon Lake, Ohio, and Alice (Frank) Standall of Bessemer; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Les was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sheila Savage; and brothers, Jeffrey Mohney, Allan Mohney, Don Mohney, and Eric Mohney.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette Street, Nelsonville with Pastor David Shoemaker officiating. Interment will be in Whitmore Cemetery, Buchtel. Family and friends may visit from 1 to 2 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
