Leta Ann Rutter

July 22, 1938 — February 1, 2022

Leta Ann Rutter, 83, of Logan, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan.  She was born July 22, 1938, in Syracuse, New York, daughter of the late Anton Loerzel and Evelyn Guiles Mason.  Leta was the widow of the late Paul Vincent Rutter.

She attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Leta is survived by her sons, Nolan (Ann) Rutter of Clinton, Missouri, Marvin (Fran) Rutter of Pataskala and John Rutter of Logan; daughters, Theresa (Tony) James of Nelsonville, Michelle (Tom) Blume of Seattle, Washington and Linda (Bob) Zink of Logan; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; brothers, Walter (Jackie) Loerzel of Sailor City, North Carolina and Thomas Loerzel of New York; sister, Betty Stilwell of Syracuse, New York and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jolean Rutter; sister, Joyce Loerzel and brothers, Richard and Carl Loerzel.

Services will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
