Lewis “Bud” F. Skiver, 85, of Laurelville, passed away Friday, July 21, 2017 at the Pickering House in Lancaster, after a long battle with cancer. He was born April 7, 1932 in Columbus, son of the late Anthony Franklin and Ottie Hiser Skiver. Bud was married to Linda Blair Skiver, who survives.
He is survived by his daughters, Jackie (John) Knisley and Rhonda Skiver (Jim Armstrong), both of Bainbridge; son-in-law, Raymond Gilliland of Jackson; grandchildren, Nathan (Amanda) Powell of Cincinnati, Tytus (Jessica) Gilliland of Hillsboro, Heather (Jeremy) Sikora of Vandalia, Matt (Stefanie) Knisley of Chillicothe, Heidi (Nathan) Sharp of Lancaster and Hayley (Richard) Ash of Circleville and seventeen great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Bud was preceded in death by daughter, Lori Gilliland.
His wishes were to have no services and to be cremated. Inurnment will be in Smith Chapel Cemetery in Logan. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Lewis “Bud” F. Skiver to FairHope Hospice, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
