Linda Sue Huffman

Linda Sue Huffman, 68, of Logan, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.  She was born December 12, 1949 in New Salem, Ohio, daughter of the late Russell Vorhees and Lucille Hunt Vorhees Johnson.  Linda was married to Mark D. Huffman, who survives.

She retired from Hocking Valley Community Hospital as an emergency room nurse after 30 years of service and was a member of Shepard of the Valley Church.

Linda is survived by her son, Timothy Allen (Athena) Ellis of Temple, Texas; grandchildren, Sydney, John Patrick, Ryley Ann and Emery Elizabeth; brother, Russell (Sandy) Vorhees of Lancaster and sisters, Marjorie Henderson of Baltimore, Ohio, Nancy (Larry) Dennison of Bremen and Violet Lowe of New Lexington.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Wanda Colton and Mabel Henderson and stepfather, Joseph Johnson.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, June 2, 2018 in the Logan Church of The Nazarene, 650 Walhonding Ave., with pastor Doug Stull officiating.  Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the services.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Linda Sue Huffman to the Dempsey Family Education and Resource Center c/o OhioHealth Foundation, 180 E. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43215.
