Loeta Sue Bownes

Loeta Sue Bownes, 70, of Logan, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at the Pickering House in Lancaster.  She was born July 7, 1947 in Gallipolis, daughter of the late Dillard L. and Evelyn Louise Myers Wallace.

She was retired from Smead Manufacturing and was a member of the Hocking Hills Church of Christ.

Sue is survived by sons, Bryan (Bridgette) Bownes and Brent (Becky) Bownes both of Logan; grandchildren, Breanna (Dyllon) Williams, Ashley (Kyle) Retzlaff, Keith (Samantha) Goss, Carrie Bownes, Cassie (Zac) Cordle, Bradley (Laikyn) Bownes, Garrett Myers and Shailynn Myers; eight great grandchildren; brother, Randy (Paula) Wallace of Logan; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and many special friends.

In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her daughter, Debbie Myers.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Rev. Kelly Zircle officiating. Interment will be at New Fairview Memorial Gardens, Rockbridge. Friends may call Monday from 4-8 pm at the funeral home.
