Lois Ann Chrysler

March 19, 1945 — August 2, 2020

Lois Ann Chrysler, 75, of Logan, passed away Sunday August 2, 2020 at the Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan.  She was born March 19, 1945 in Matewan, West Virginia, daughter of the late Oliver Brooks and Mary Irene Justice Taylor.

She was a Nurse Technician, and was owner and operator of Natures Way store in Logan.  She was adopted into Continental Confederation of Adopted Indians in 1998 by Chief Thunderhawk, who has since passed away.  Her adopted name given by the Chief is “Spirit Dancer”.  She was greatly loved by her family and will be sadly missed.

Lois is survived by a son, Larry Chrysler of Columbus; daughters, Judy Allen of Lancaster, Christina (Gary) Daniels of Delaware and Rachael (Shawn Nunnally) Staten of Logan; sixteen grandchildren; many great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Feyh of Johnstown, Janet Ward of Aurora and Joyce Foster of Sandusky; numerous nieces and nephews and other beloved family members.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Steven Chrysler in 2017.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday August 8, 2020 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.  A private graveside service and inurnment will be held at a later date at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
