Lois Jane Hopstetter, 95, of Haydenville, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2020, at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan. She was born November 3, 1924, in Athens County, daughter of the late Carl and Ruby Pruden Harris. Lois was the widow of the late Donald “Rink” Hopstetter.
She retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Logan.
Lois is survived by her sons, Randy (Laura) Hopstetter of Logan and Michael “Tony” (special friend, David Martin) Hopstetter of Logan; daughter, Carla Seals of Louisville, Kentucky; grandchildren, Jackie Hopstetter, Todd Seals, Amy Seals, Angela (Josh) McKee and Seth (Chelsea Cozart) Hopstetter; four great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren and daughter-in-law, Shirley Hopstetter of Logan.
In addition to her parents and husband, Lois was preceded in death by her son, James Hopstetter, grandchild, Mark Seals and sister, Audrey Trowbridge.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, September 18, 2020, in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Pastor Michael Hurst officiating. Interment will be in Carbon Hill Cemetery, Carbon Hill. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday, from 5p.m to 8 p.m.
