Louelma Alene Bay

Louelma Alene Bay, 87, of Albany, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.  She was born October 3, 1932 in Radcliff, Ohio, daughter of the late Roy A. and Etta Bacus Wright.  Louelma was the widow of the late John Robert Bay.

She retired from Austin Powder Company, attended Black Oak Church and loved her family and dog, Tucker.

Louelma is survived by her son, Brent E. (Tami) Bay of Albany; daughters, Brenda (Charles) Covert of Thurman and Linda G. (Elbert) Sadler of Albany; grandchildren, Brent Jr., Rebecca, Brittany, Chad, Timothy, Aaron, Lyndsay and Leah; fifteen great-grandchildren; brothers, Eugene Wright of Obetz, John Wright of Columbus, James Wright of Columbus and Larry Wright of Radcliff; sister, Yvonne Cattee of Melbourne, Florida and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Homer and Dale Wright and sisters, Marguerite Adkins, Sue Adkins, Mary Kate Wright, Shirley McCumber, Merel Zinn and Artie Mae Perry.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Monday, January 13, 2020 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Pastor Danny Minton officiating.  Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, from 4-8 p.m.
