Margaret Jean Lyke

Margaret Jean Lyke, 94, of Logan, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018 at The Pickering House in Lancaster.  She was born September 28, 1923 in Hocking County, daughter of the late Raymond and Gertrude Moore Achauer.  Jean was the widow of the late Charles H. Lyke, who passed away in 1988.

Jean was a member of the former Immanuel United Methodist Church in Logan and the Venus Chapter #76 O.E.S.  Along with her husband Charles, they were the former owners of Leonard Lyke Funeral Home in Logan.

Jean is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, William Achauer.

Graveside services will be held 10 a.m., Friday, March 2, 2018 in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan, with Rev. Rodney Rogers officiating.  Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
