Marie Elizabeth Betts

Marie Elizabeth Betts, 85, of McArthur, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2020, at Westmoreland Place in Chillicothe.  She was born June 14, 1935 in Cynthiana, Kentucky, daughter of the late Dennis and Nellie Wilson Cluff.  Marie was the widow of the late Robert Betts.

She is survived by her son, Roger (Pam) Betts of McArthur; daughter, Sharon Coyle of Kingston; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Corinne Cluff of Allensville.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis Cluff and sister, Josephine White.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, July 27, 2020, in McGee Cemetery, South Bloomingville, Vinton County, with Pasto William Roth officiating.  Friends may call at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, on Monday, from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
