Marilyn A. Ellis

Marilyn Ann Ellis, 71, of Nelsonville, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus. She was born January 13, 1952, in Columbus, the daughter of the late Roger and Maxine (Woolever) Scheurell.

Marilyn is survived by her daughters, Tamra (Shannon) Evans of Nelsonville and Kris (Joshua) Brashear of Nelsonville; grandchildren, Cristofer (Jordanna) Evans, Alyson Evans, Samantha Glass, Amber Glass, Lizzie Glass, and Dwayne Glass; 3 great grandchildren; and brothers, Thomas Scheurell, Daniel Scheurell, and Anthony “Tony” Scheurell.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ronald Scheurell and Roger Scheurell Jr.; and sister, Kathy Nelson.

Private family services will be held. Arrangements are by Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
