Marilyn Goldie Schall

Marilyn Goldie Schall, 88, of Logan, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025. She was born on April 20, 1936, the daughter of the late Clyde and Verna (Lumley) Fiscus. She was married to the late James Schall for 43 years.

Marilyn loved the lord and was an avid gardener. She loved horses and was a member of the Hocking County OHC riding club. She also enjoyed quilting. Marilyn was a 1954 graduate of Poland Seminary High School.

Marilyn is survived by her son, James (Marjorie) Schall; daughter-in-law, Sheryl Schall; grandchildren, Stacey, Scott (Ashley), Patrick, and Michelle (Tod); 6 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and her faithful companion, Tess.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Jon Schall; and sisters, Deloris Bieber and Donna Jean Padgett.

Family and friends may visit from 4 to 6 pm on Friday, February 28, 2025, at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St, Logan.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in memory of Marilyn to a charity of the donor’s choice.
