Marlene H. Edwards, 85, of Lancaster, formerly of Logan, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Crestview Manor Nursing Home in Lancaster. She was born October 23, 1933 in Chincoteague, Virginia, daughter of the late Paul Hill and Catherine Ellis Hill Stubbs. Marlene was the widow of the late Bill L. Edwards.
She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Marlene is survived by her sons, Bill (Sandy) Edwards of Findlay and Scott (Jodi) Edwards of Logan; daughters, Donna (Rick) Webb of Logan and Brenda (Steve Touchette) Edwards of Mascoutah, Illinois; thirteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and a brother, Reginald (Ann) Stubbs of Chincoteague, Virginia.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Paulene, Dorothea and Regina and brothers, Joseph and George.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, November 19, 2018 at Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Kendall Wahl officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Marlene H. Edwards to FairHope Hospice, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
