Marvin L. Seitz

Marvin L. Seitz, 96, of Londonderry, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017 at his residence.  He was born June 2, 1921 in Eagle Township, Vinton County, son of the late Harley and Gladys Thomas Seitz.  Marvin was the widow of the late Ruth Elizabeth Waldron Seitz.

He retired from Mead in Chillicothe, was a farmer and a WWII Army Veteran.

Marvin is survived by his daughter, Linda (Ronald) Hopkins of Londonderry; grandchildren, Stacy and Shawna Hopkins; great grandchild, Brittany, Caleb, Conner and Destenei; great great grandchildren, Stratton, Emberly and Sawyer and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathy Seitz; brother, Vernon Seitz and sisters, Wavelene Diehl and Willafern Clary.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, September 14, 2017 in Londonderry Cemetery, with Rev. Jim McFadden officiating.  Military graveside services will be conducted by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard.  No calling hours will be observed.
