Mary Frances "Francy" Sigler

Mary Frances “Francy” Sigler, 86, of Logan, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023, at her residence.  She was born June 12, 1936, in Hocking County, Ohio, daughter of the late Forest and Elizabeth Amnah Glenn.  Francy was the widow of the late Howard L. Sigler.

She retired from Hocking Valley Community Hospital and also along with her family, she owned and operated Hansel Brothers Dry Cleaners in Logan.  Francy was an active member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Logan.

She is survived by her son, Dale (Lynn) Sigler of Logan; daughters, Connie (Randy) Rau of Indianapolis, Indiana, Christy (Tony) Eckhart of Logan and Cindy Sigler of Lithopolis; grandchildren, Stephanie Murray, Erica Johnson, Hannah and Tyler Sigler; great grandchildren, Anthony and Taylor Murray, Nyah Grace Sigler, Presleigh Reed and Paisliana Reed; brothers, Steven (Diane) Glenn of Lancaster, Nolan (Amy) Glenn of Logan and Cameron (Rhonda) Glenn of Columbus, Indiana; sister, Marcella Powell of Newark and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Friday, March 24, 2023, in the St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 258 E. Hunter St., Logan, with Pastor Scott Smith and Pastor Kelly Rammell officiating.  Interment will be in New Fairview Memorial Gardens, Rockbridge.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, and on Friday, one hour prior to the service at the St. Matthew Lutheran Church.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Mary Frances Sigler to the St. Matthew Lutheran Church Building Fund, 258 E. Hunter St., Logan, Ohio 43138.
