Mary M. Mcclure

Mary M. McClure, 87, of McArthur, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021, at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.  She was born January 17, 1934, in Vinton County, Ohio, daughter of the late Clarence and Marie Wiseman Bolton.  Mary was the widow of the late Delno L. McClure Sr.

She retired from the Vinton County Sheriff’s Department and attended Mt. Olive United Methodist Church.

Mary is survived by her son, Kent A. McClure of McArthur; daughter, Caroline L. Cottrill of McArthur; grandchildren, Travis, Kimberly and Tracy; five great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Delno L. McClure Jr., brothers, Harold, Earl, Clyde, Milford and Norman Bolton and sisters, Ethel Thomas and Dollie Morris.

Mary’s wishes were to be cremated.  Private services will be held by the family.  Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
