On August 12, 2017 Mary Sharon Noltie passed away. She was the dearly beloved wife of Stephen Noltie of Lancaster for well over forty years. Born to William and Florence Dillon, she was the youngest of four children and was raised in Oak Park and River Forest, Illinois. After elementary and high school, she attended the University of Windsor and the University of California, Riverside, where she graduated with a baccalaureate degree in Geography. She and her husband met during the years at Riverside, resulting in marriage in 1972. They moved to Lancaster in 1982 where they gave birth to their second child. With wholehearted commitment, Marysharon devoted her time to raising their children and serving her church. Unfathomably generous, constant in affection, selfless in duty and friendship, she will be remembered within special places of the heart by so many she had the pleasure to share with in life experience. Her husband was truly blessed to have such a wonderful, beautiful companion.
Immediate family members include Mary’s daughter, April (Ray) Miller of Lancaster, son Jonathan (deceased), Mary’s brother, William K. Dillon of Wilmington, Delaware, and her two sisters Florence Cullerton of Benton Harbor, Michigan and Carol Cradick of Brookhaven, Georgia. Family and friends will be welcomed to a private memorial service planned in the near future.
So dearly will she remain in our hearts,
Steve and daughter April
