Mary Evelyn Partee

Mary Evelyn Partee, born July 10, 1925, in McArthur, Ohio, passed away on June 20, 2024, while a resident of Edgewood Manor in Wellston.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Cynde (Gary) Wood; grandson, Joel (Meagan) Wood and great grandchildren, Abby, Jake and Nick.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernie, brother, Sherman Jr. and parents, Sherman and Opal Thompson.

Mary’s family would like to express their sincere thanks for the care given by the staff of Edgewood Manor and the nurses of National Church Residence Hospice Care.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 25, 2024, in Elk Cemetery, McArthur.

Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Mary Evelyn Partee to the Herbert Wescoat Memorial Library, 120 N. Market St., McArthur, Ohio 45651.
