Melvin Bryan Sheets

Melvin Bryan Sheets, 50, of Creola, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan.  He was born October 10, 1970, in Gallipolis, Ohio, son of John Sheets of Hamden and the late Ethel Mae Jayjohn Sheets.  Melvin was married to Molly Martin Sheets, who survives.

He was employed at Travco Lumber as a Sawyer.

Melvin is survived by his sons, Bryan Sheets of Hamden and Steven Stepien of Wellston; daughters, Paige Walton of Hamden, Natashia Walton of Hamden, Sidney Stepien of Creola and Mackenzie Stepien of Creola; grandchildren, NaGaven Gartin, Adelyn Walton and Bryson Sheets; sisters, Tracie Buckley of Dayton and Michelle Ziegler of Hamden and a special cousin, Charlie Reed of McArthur.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Dorothy Jayjohn.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, September 14, 2021, in the Calvary Assembly of God Church, 63849 US Hwy 50, McArthur, Ohio 45651, with Pastor John Evans II officiating.  Interment will be in the Conley Family Cemetery, Vinton County.  Friends may call at the Calvary Assembly of God Church on Tuesday, from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.

Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
