Miles J. Thacker Jr.

Miles J. Thacker Jr., 70, of Dundas passed away Friday November 23, 2018 at Select Specialty Hospital in Columbus.  He was born May 5, 1948 in Pike County, Kentucky, son of the late Miles Harvey and Sarah Emma (Thacker) Thacker.  He was married to Linda Louise Nicholson Thacker, for 49 years, who survives.

Miles was a former Coal Miner and worked for various coal companies.  He was loved by his family and will be sadly missed.

Along with his wife, Miles is survived by sons, Miles J. Thacker II, Steve Thacker and Trapper Thacker all of Dundas; daughters, Rose Gibson and April Thacker both of Dundas; grandchild, Autumn Gibson; great grandchild, Ryver Gibson.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by grandson, Ryan “Mark” Gibson.

Miles wishes were to be cremated and no services will be held at this time.  Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 210 W. High St., McArthur.
