Mollie Marilyn Athey, 92, of Logan, passed away Friday March 12, 2021 at her residence. She was born August 4, 1928 in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of the late Jacob and Gladys Paxton Fisher.
She was a retired Supervisor, for over 25 years, at Western Electric in Columbus. Life member of VFW, #9473 in Reynoldsburg; and member of FOE, #3261 in Whitehall.
Mollie is survived by sons, Kenneth (Thelma) Farmer of Logan and Britt Farrow of Logan; daughter, Lola Edwards of Logan; grandchildren, Keith Farmer of Logan, Kevin (Shauna) Farmer of Logan, Laura Edwards of Grove City and Todd Edwards of Logan; step granddaughter, Chawnel Spires; great grandchildren, Kyle Farmer, Kaylee Farmer and Noah McMaster; brother, Jerry Fisher of Logan; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m. Wednesday March 17, 2021 at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan. Evangelist Kelly Zirkle officiating. Friends may visit Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Graveside funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Thursday March 18, 2021 at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5000 E. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43213.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Mollie Athey to the Hocking County Humane Society, 36960 Hocking Dr., Logan, Ohio 43138.
