Nancy Sue Brislinger, 83, of Logan, passed away at her home on Monday, May 9, 2022. She was born August 27, 1938, in Akron, Ohio, the daughter of the late Fred A. and Audrey Lucille (Schuler) Harnack. Nancy was married for 66 years to Raymond Roger Brislinger, who survives.
Nancy was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Logan. She was a great homemaker and babysitter and a former employee of Hocking Valley Community Hospital. She was also formerly active in PTA and other school activities. Nancy was an avid bird lover and she enjoyed many trips to the Schuler Family Farm in Millersburg, Ohio, where she found great peace and happiness.
In addition to her husband, Nancy is survived by her daughters, Cathy Louise (Gary) Reynolds of Munroe Falls, Ohio, Julie Ann (Kevin) Kelly of Goodyear, AZ, Christy Sue (Robert) Barnhart of Logan, and Amy Lu (Mike) Erb of Logan; grandchildren, Erin, Carey, Amanda, Kyle, Katelyn, Cameron, Alex, and Jason; 8 great grandchildren; unofficial adopted daughters, Teresa Bozzo and Anna Reichling; and sister-in-law, Judy Ross.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Karl Harnack; and in-laws, Andrew and Louise Brislinger.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, May 16, 2022, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 430 N. Mulberry St., Logan, with Rev. Danny Koch officiating. Friends may visit from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM Monday at the church. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
