Nancy Lee Kirby

Nancy Lee Kirby, 79, of McArthur, passed away Friday, November 18, 2022, at her residence.  She was born January 3, 1943, in Wellston, Ohio, daughter of the late William Wesley McFadden and Ruth J. Jarvis Martin.  Nancy was the widow of the late John William “Bill” Kirby.

She retired from Austin Powder Company after 36 years of service.  Nancy was a member of the McArthur Free Will Baptist Church and was a 1961 graduate of Wellston High School.

She is survived by her sons, John (Rose Coleman) Kirby, David (Lisa) Kirby, Earl Kirby and Steven Kirby, all of McArthur; a grandson whom Nancy raised in her home, Christopher (Kristina) Kirby of South Webster, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; her fur children, Missi and Babe; sister, Ruth Ann Jackson of Kentucky and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents and husband, Nancy was preceded in death by her grandson, Zachary Kirby and sister, Betty Anderson.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Nancy Lee Kirby to the McArthur Free Will Baptist Ladies Auxiliary, P.O. Box 35, McArthur, Ohio 45651.
