Nathan Ryan Maxwell

Nathan Ryan Maxwell, 24, of McArthur, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2019 at his residence.  He was born February 14, 1995 in Logan, son of Robert and Kelly Sims Maxwell of McArthur.

Nathan worked for Berglund Construction in Columbus and was a member of Union Local #55.  His children and nephews were his world and he would do anything for them.  Nathan was an avid sports fan and had a love for basketball and video games.

In addition to his parents, Nathan is survived by his daughters, Emma Dawn Maxwell and Addilyn Lesley Grace Maxwell; son, Owen Jayce Maxwell; sister, Kayla (James Pinson) Maxwell of McArthur; brother, Codey (Kaitlin) Maxwell of Chillicothe; maternal grandmother, Alberta Sims; special nephews, Easton and Tucker Hughes and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Vernon “Pete” Sims; paternal grandparents, John and Maudie Maxwell and uncles, Bruce Sims and Ricky Maxwell.

Funeral services will be held 12 p.m., Friday, August 2, 2019 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. Jim Taylor officiating.  Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
