Ned Thomas Wallace

Ned Thomas Wallace, 80, of Ray, passed away Friday, March 15, 2024, at Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus.  He was born October 17, 1943, in Williamsport, Ohio, son of the late Ralph Thomas and Beatrice Starkey Wallace.  Ned was married to Rebecca Toole Wallace, who survives.

He retired from General Motors and was a member of the Ashville Motorcycle Club.

Ned is survived by his wife; his son and best friend, Nathan Wallace of Ray; son, Timmy (Chrissie) Wallace of Ashville; daughter, Tammy (Ray) Joseph of Morrow; grandchildren, Peyton, Brendan, Cody, Phillip and Raechelle; niece, Vivien Cupp; great niece, Chris Cupp; special family, Stephanie Ward and Peter; very special pet, Mac and other special friends and family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Faye Cupp, Emily Wallace, Teenie Wallace and Paul Wallace.

A funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Pastor James McFadden officiating.  Interment will be in Log Pile Cemetery, Vinton County.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
