Norma L. Hamilton

Norma L. Hamilton, 100, of Imperial, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at the Laurels of Athens. She was born April 12, 1923, in Hamley Run, Ohio, the daughter of the late John and Emma (Powell) Phillips. She was the widow of the late John V. Hamilton.

Norma is survived by her son-in-law, Joe Roman Jr.; 7 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Darlene “Cricket” Roman; son, Tom Hamilton; siblings, Julia Thompson, Arville Wilson, Louise McCulloch, John Phillips, and Jack Phillips.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, September 21, 2023, in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville, with Pastor Tim Kelly officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Family and friends may visit from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
