Norman Lee Phelps

Norman Lee Phelps, 76, of Nelsonville, passed away Thursday December 20, 2018 at Hickory Creek Nursing Home.  He was born September 14, 1942 in Coshocton, Ohio, son of the late Joseph S. and Oneita Mildred Baker Phelps.

He served as a Mechanic in the US Army during Vietnam.  Afterwards, he retired as a Truck Driver for UPS.  He was a Life-Member of the NRA.

Norman is survived by dear friends, Mary (Keith Lewis) McDaniel of Shade and his several dear friends at Kimberly Meadows Apartments.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Ronnie and Larry Phelps Sr.

Norman’s wishes were to be cremated, and no services will be held at this time.  Arrangements are by the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
