Oliver Ray Jones

Oliver Ray Jones, 70, of McArthur, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.  He was born July 22, 1948 in Hardin County, Ohio, son of the late Earl and Sylvia Mae Risner Jones.

Ray is survived by his son, Eric Jones of McArthur; grandchildren, Brett Jones, Derick Jones and Erin Jones, all of McArthur and brothers, Carl (Helen) Jones of Wellston and Roy (Sonya) Jones of Lima; sister-in-law, Susan Allman of Wellston; his former wife, Carol (Jay) Hughes of McArthur and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Earl Dean Jones and sister, Linda Wright.

Funeral services will be held 1p.m., Monday, February 18, 2019 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. Jim Taylor officiating.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
