Orpha Arthella Tipton

Orpah Arthella Tipton, 92, of Columbus, formerly of McArthur, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Four Winds Nursing Facility in Jackson.  She was born April 27, 1925 in Coalton, Ohio, daughter of the late Turley I. and Estella Marie Richard Dixon.  She was married to the late Carl E. Tipton.

She graduated from Coalton High School and attended First Baptist Church in Coalton.  Orpha was a sales agent and sold real estate.

She is survived by a sister, Eloise Clay of Jackson; nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Lana Carlene Tipton; one brother and two sisters.

No services will be observed at this time.  Arrangements are by the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
