Pamela Sue Roeder

Pamela Sue Roeder, 87, of Sarasota, Florida, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2023, at her daughter’s residence in Sarasota, Florida. She was born June 5, 1935, in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of the late Cleo and Rhoda Binns Hansford. Pam was the widow of the late Herman Roeder.

She retired from CED in Columbus, was a member of South Perry United Methodist Church where she was the past President of the Women’s Church Club. Pam ran a food pantry in Laurelville and helped start and operate the Sparrow House for underprivileged children.

She is survived by her sons, Dale (Jan) Roeder, Chris (Linda) Roeder and Kurt (Cheryl) Roeder; daughters, Vickie Roeder, Loretta Hill and Lorraine (Mike) Clinger; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren; brother, Paul and sisters, Diane and Lucille.

In addition to her parents and husband, Pam was preceded in death by her sons, Karl and Paul Roeder.

A funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Monday, May 8, 2023, in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan. Interment will be in Knollwood Cemetery, Logan. Visitation will be held on Monday, from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
