Pastor Riley Coleman

Pastor Riley Coleman, 69, of McArthur, passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus.   He was born February 16, 1948 in McArthur, son of the late Ulysses Grant and Sarah Coleman.  Pastor Riley was married to Betty Robinson Coleman, who survives.

Pastor Riley was the Pastor for Allensville Christian Church Disciples of Christ and was a devoted family man.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Kym Robertson of Blacklick, Jill Sarina of Columbus and Viki Sarina of Columbus; grandchildren, Sarah Coleman and Alex Reese; brother, Jesse (Janet) Coleman of Ashville; sisters, Lucy Daugherty of Oklahoma, Laura (Lee) Spence of McArthur, Myra Starn of Ashville, Polly Nickell of McArthur, Ruth (Mike) Lax of Nelsonville, Lois (Tim) Beverly of Westerville, Dora (Pat) Roberts of Hopkinsville, Kentucky and Patricia (Riley) Hall of Pikeville, Kentucky and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pastor Riley was preceded in death by his parents and son, Kenneth Grant Coleman.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Monday, November 13, 2017 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Pastor Ron Baxter officiating.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 11a.m. until the time of the service.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Pastor Riley Coleman to The Transverse Myelitis Association, 1787 Sutter Parkway, Powell, Ohio 43065.
