Patricia L. Chilcote

Patricia L. Chilcote, 66, of Nelsonville, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at O’Bleness Hospital, Athens.  She was born on December 3, 1955, in Lancaster, the daughter of the late James and Opal (Canter) Wolfe.  She was married for 50 years to William “Ed” Chilcote who survives.

Pat was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and care giver.  She also enjoyed travel and cooking.

In addition to her husband, Pat is survived by her son, William “Ed” (Kelly) Chilcote Jr. of Nelsonville; daughter, Jamie Johnson of Columbus; grandchildren, Cameron Chilcote, Savannah Chilcote, and Caden Chilcote all of Columbus; sisters, Jean Brown of Lancaster and Dodie (Teddy) Martin of Nelsonville; and brothers, Richard (Helen) Wolfe of Lancaster, Tim (Lisa) Wolfe of Lancaster, and Steve (Carla) Wolfe of Lancaster.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; brother, James E. Wolfe; sister, Barbara Hoag; and brother-in-law, Art Chilcote.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, August 1, 2022, in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Bernardetta Jones officiating.  Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville.  Friends may visit from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.
