Patricia J. Gafke, 88, of Powell, formerly of Logan, passed away Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Dublin Methodist Hospital in Dublin. She was born February 6, 1929 in Madison, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Earl Mullen and Amelia Kingland Mullen Klinefelter. Patricia was the widow of the late John L. Gafke.
She was a former dietitian at the University of Wisconsin Madison and was a former realtor in Logan. Patricia was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Logan since 1954, the Ladies Guild at the church and the Logan Garden Club.
She is survived by her daughters, Betsy (George) Hudak of Marysville, Jane (Mike) Falk of Powell and Susan (Tom) Jacoby of Powell; grandchildren, Philip (Colleen) and John Van Eman, Sean and Lauren Falk, Amelia (Lucas) Gilfillan and Rachel Jacoby and a sister, Sharon (Gene) Hollenberger of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, October 6, 2017 at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 430 N. Mulberry St., Logan, with Rev. Danny R. Koch officiating. Interment will be in New Fairview Memorial Gardens, Rockbridge. Friends may call at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, on Thursday, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. and on Friday, one hour prior to the services at the church.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Patricia J. Gafke Memorial Fund at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 430 N. Mulberry St., Logan, Ohio 43138.
