Patricia "Pat" Cheeseman

Patricia “Pat” E. Cheeseman, 68, of Nelsonville, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022, at Hocking Valley Community Hospital, Logan.  She was born June 12, 1953, in Nelsonville, the daughter of the late Donald L. and Charlotte Dowler Bailey. Pat was married to the late Everett H. “Homer” Cheeseman.

Pat was a kind and generous person who would gladly do anything for anyone. She loved her plants and gardening.

Pat is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Matt) Dillon of McArthur; sons, Homer (Amanda) Cheeseman of Charleston, West Virginia and Wayne Cheeseman of Newark; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and brothers, Amos (Brenda) Bailey of Coolville, Ray (Mary) Bailey of Nelsonville, Marty (Jodi) Bailey of Guysville, and Timothy Bailey of Columbus.

In addition to her parents and husband, Pat was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Lou Bennett and Clara Louise Bailey.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 3, 2022, in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville. Interment will follow in Carbon Hill Cemetery, Carbon Hill. Friends may visit Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
