Patsy Lou Huddy, 81, of Athens, formerly of Nelsonville, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at the Laurels of Athens. She was born January 19, 1937 in Glouster, Ohio, the daughter of the late Albert Cairelli and Louvenia E. Teel Simonton.
She was a former member of Nelsonville Presbyterian Church and attended Oak Grove Wesleyan Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Kelly Huddy of Athens and dear friends Martha and Charlie Newlun of Nelsonville.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a stepfather, George Simonton.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday January 15, 2019 at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Pastor Mike Thomas officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, New Addition, Nelsonville. Friends may visit Tuesday from 11-1 p.m. at the funeral home.
