Paul L. Hankison

Paul L. Hankison, 87, of Logan, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2024, at his residence.  He was born August 27, 1936, in Logan, Ohio, son of the late Lawrence Hankison and Mary Harble Hankison Hammond.  Paul was married to Nancy Woodgeard Hankison, who survives.

He retired from the United States Army after 26 years, where he also served in the Vietnam War. He then went on to retire from the Hocking County Courthouse after 10 years. Paul was a member of Shepherd Of The Valley United Brethren Church.

Paul is survived by his wife along with his sons, Brian Hankison of Lancaster, Bradley Hankison of Logan and Brett Hankison of Taylorsville, Kentucky and granddaughter, Adaira Hankison of Taylorsville, Kentucky.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Edward and Carl Hankison; sister, Delma Kraft and half-sister, Beverly Hammond.

A graveside service will be held 10 am, Tuesday, June 4, 2024, in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan, with Rev. Jack Johnson Jr. officiating.  Military services will be conducted by the Hocking County Honor Guard.

Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
